Job Title:  Junior Graphic Designer

Location:  Hercules, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, must be local)

Duration:  3-Month Contract (Strong potential for extension)

Pay Rate:  $40/hr

Schedule:  Full-time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a  Junior Graphic Designer  to support day-to-day design execution across a variety of marketing channels, including  digital, print, and event materials . This role is highly execution-focused, working within  established templates and design systems , while collaborating closely with  art directors, team leads, and cross-functional partners .

The ideal candidate is  detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking direction , with the ability to produce high-quality work efficiently while maintaining  brand consistency and visual standards . This role requires someone who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute  high-volume design work  across digital and print channels using established templates and brand systems

• Create and adapt layouts for  web banners, social media posts, email modules, presentations (PPT), and event materials

• Prepare and finalize artwork for  print and digital production , ensuring proper specifications and accuracy

• Collaborate with  art directors and team leads  to implement creative direction and feedback

• Work cross-functionally with  copywriters, product managers, and other designers  to align on project goals and deliverables

• Participate in  daily check-ins, design critiques, and feedback sessions

• Maintain and update  design systems, templates, and component libraries

• Ensure all work aligns with  brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and project requirements

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining  timelines, organization, and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in  Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field

• 2–4 years of Graphic Design experience  in a professional setting

• Strong experience with  day-to-day design execution  across digital and print assets

• Proven ability to work within  templates and established design systems  while maintaining quality and consistency

• Strong understanding of  layout, typography, color theory, and visual composition

• Experience designing for  web, social media, email, and presentation materials (PPT)

• Ability to  take direction from an Art Director  and apply feedback effectively

• Experience preparing files for  print and digital production  (specs, formatting, exports, etc.)

• Experience collaborating with  cross-functional teams  (marketing, product, content, etc.)

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to  manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Clear and professional  communication skills (verbal and written)

• High attention to detail with a strong focus on  accuracy and brand consistency

• Proficiency in  Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and  Figma

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a  fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Exposure to  design systems and component-based workflows

• Experience supporting  marketing or product teams
